The holiday homes offered here lie in Ovanåkers and Bollnäs Kommun, towns in the region are Edsbyn, Alfta and Bollnäs. Söderhamn at the coast lies approximately 60 km southeast. Stockholm is approx. 300 km away. From Trelleborg it is approx. 850 km, from Gothenburg 600 km. Within 40 km there are numerous day trips to nature (reservations, waterfalls, little islands...), to museums and exhibitions (local history museums, traditional Swedish farms, old handicraft, zoos). You have got the opportunity to go fishing, canoeing, rafting, swimming, walking and hiking, horse riding, horse sledge driving... In the winter the snow-covered forest and the frozen lakes offer ice fishing, skiing (cross-country and alpine), ice skating or simply walking in fresh clear winter air. Edsbyn is a center for Bandy (a new sport experience for football and ice hockey fans). Ice fishing is very popular in this area.
